All England Semifinals Predictions

Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah vs. Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae
The Malaysian veterans have been impressive so far, not dropping a set throughout this tournament. Can they emulate Koo and Tan's feat last year of winning the tournament without losing a set? Jung and Lee on the other hand, have also been impressive. I think that Choong and Lee should make it through to their third All England final, where they will hopefully win before retiring.

Lee Chong Wei vs. Chen Jin
After yesterday's speedy disposal of Indonesian ace Taufik Hidayat, Lee Chong Wei looks set to enter his first All England final of his career. Chen Jin has hardly been tested so far in this tournament, and might be stiff opposition for Lee. However, I expect Lee to be able to hold his cool to enter the finals against either Bao Chunlai or Lin Dan.

Lin Dan vs. Bao Chunlai
Provided that there is a match, and provided the match isn't fixed, I think Lin Dan will nick a win against the newly improved Bao. However, our favorite coach Li Yongbo might pull some strings to ensure a victory for either side. Lin Dan to take this in 3 sets if no strings are pulled, unlikely, given the circumstances.

Nathan Robertson/Gail Emms vs. Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir
The reigning World Champions take on the previous World Champions. The English home crowd will be as supportive as possible. During the 2006 All England, when the Indonesian pair was reigning World Champions, Nathan and Gail disposed of this pair in the exact same round. Deja Vu? I don't think so. Nova and Lilyana in 3 tight sets, disappointing the home crowd.
